Breakfast club

The breakfast club which is held in the school Dinner hall is open to all pupils at both Riverside and St Saviour’s and runs every morning from 8.00am. Children can attend breakfast club for as many days a week as they like.  They are served a healthy breakfast including a choice of cereals with milk, toast with butter and jam, and a fruit juice.

Breakfast is free for all children who qualify for free school meals via the clothing grant/ free school meals scheme.  (At present all P1-P3 children receive free school lunches, however not all of these children will qualify for a free breakfast).

Breakfast costs £2 for the first child in a family.  Siblings then pay £1.

At 8.45 the children are escorted into the playground where they are supervised by one of the Support for Learning Assistants.  The school janitor is also out in the playground at this time.
